I
understand that this volunteer opportunity is
an outstanding opportunity to get involved with
the Human Resources community and an invaluable
way to network with others in this profession
and to help with one of the largest National
Conferences for SHRM.
By pre-registering as a volunteer, I am offering
to commit my time and resources to those positions
that I am chosen to fill. I will do my
best to keep this commitment and to communicate
with the volunteer committee leadership group
if I need to make adjustments. This is
a huge undertaking, and I know that my part
makes a critical difference and impacts others,
so I will be considerate to that effect.
I also understand that every effort will be
made to grant the selections that I requested,
but due to scheduling or other last minute emergencies,
adjustments may need to be made. I am
excited about the upcoming 2007 SHRM Conference
and Exposition and am proud to be a part of
it. I understand that based on availability,
I may not be enlisted as a volunteer.
