From Basic Training Design to Using Training to Accelerate Change

By now you’ve realized that as a human resource professional, the process of change can take time and may be uncomfortable. Whether it is interpersonal or the entire organization, managing change in the organization and improving performance can be challenging. Training and Development are frequently used to help people through the transitions required by the economic conditions, technological improvements and new performance goals.

In one hour, Mary Sanders will present the basics of training design along with some advanced training and coaching methods which will include the use of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Competency Models. Both of these methods can be used to support accelerated change through adult learning.

Mary is the author of two books, R.P.M. Realize Your Power To Motivate and "The Work," An Employee’s Guide to Essential Attitudes and Performance for Success. As a certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and Trainer, she understands the power and use of effective communication to create change. In her recent book, The Work, she provides insights for employees about the essential attitudes and performance for success.

Meeting Location for 2009 - Gold Coast Hotel and Casino

 

We hope you'll consider joining us for an upcoming meeting. All meetings are held at the Gold Coast Hotel, in the Salons located on the second floor. Breakfast Registration begins at 7:30am with our speakers beginning at 8:15am. Lunch Registration begins at 11:15am with our speakers beginning at 12:00 noon.

 

Pricing for monthly membership meetings:


Breakfast Meetings:
Guests/Non Members: $28 with an RSVP
Local Members: $23 with an RSVP


Lunch Meetings:
Guests/Non Members: $35 with an RSVP
Local Members: $28 with an RSVP


As always, we welcome those without an RSVP, however please plan to pay an additional fee along with your pricing above. No shows will be billed. Cancellations are accepted without being charged up to the Friday prior to the event. After that, cancellations will be billed.
