Best Places to Work Information
Entering its ninth year in 2010, the "Original Best Places To Work in Southern Nevada (sm)" awards program recognizes top Southern Nevada employers for innovative human resource practices and programs.
This awards program can promote and distinguish your company as an employer of choice in our community. Depending on their place (1st-3rd), winners receive either a prestigious award suitable for display or a beautiful certificate of outstanding accomplishments.
Las Vegas continues to face difficult times. Acknowledging the challenges that businesses currently face, we’re searching for outstanding workplaces in Southern Nevada.
SNHRA wants to celebrate those organizations that continue to place their employees at the top of the list of priorities, whether or not the organization has recently faced tough times. If you know of a company that has great employee practices or programs, we'd like to hear from you (nominate them today!).
In addition to nominating your company for this prestigious award, you have the opportunity to be a sponsor. Sponsorship is an excellent way to reach key decision-makers for hundreds of local businesses and show your support for the HR Community.
To be considered for an award, employees and their employers must follow a two-step process:
First, an employee nominates their company as a Best Place to Work.
Second, the employer (typically the HR Director and/or President) fills out the awards entry form which describes the company's work environment, employee benefits and other factors which lead the company to be one of the "Best Places to Work". A panel of expert judges from the HR Community (your peers) carefully review and grade the applications and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each organization size category: Small, Medium, Large.
